The Circular Economy Cluster is the creator of Lithuania’s sustainable economy ecosystem and a unique innovation platform that combines sustainable manufacturing companies in various industries. The cluster was founded in 2015 March 9th.
It is a continually growing platform of its members and ideas, which is concentrated in Vilnius County, with the aim of continuously expanding its range of activities.
The members of the Cluster are aiming for minimizing waste and making the most of resources through new business and manufacturing practices: long-lasting sustainable design, maintenance, repair, reuse of products and parts, remanufacturing and recycling. Currently the Cluster is engaging in two main directions: wasteless manufacturing and sustainable energy use in housing and public buildings. Members are particularly operating in these fields and are aiming at becoming the local industry leaders in sustainable construction, smart energy, cavitation and geothermal energy solutions in private and public housing in the Baltic states.
